Springwood Upholstery started when I went shopping for the perfect fabric for window treatments and pillows for my first house. Everyone who walked into my house asked “Where did you get your window treatments?” and were surprised to hear that I made them.
The upholstery part came later, when on a whim I picked up a lovely wing chair from a used furniture store. The chair sat in my house for a few years until I started dating my (now) husband and told him how I wanted to recover the chair myself. His reply was “I have all of the tools if you need them. My grandmother used to reupholster furniture.”
After finishing my first chair and window treatments for my house, I was hooked. I started making custom window treatments and reupholstering furniture for friends and family.

Today Springwood Upholstery is a one woman workroom that works with home owners and interior designers to bring your vision to life. We love creating one of a kind soft furnishings for our clients.
