Springwood Upholstery began over 15 years ago, sparked by my search for the perfect fabric for window treatments and pillows for my first home. When friends and family visited, they would often ask, “Where did you get your window treatments?” and were always surprised to learn that I had made them myself.

My love for furniture, especially vintage and antique pieces, has always been a part of me. The upholstery journey began a bit later, when I stumbled upon a beautiful wing chair at a used furniture store. It was the perfect size and shape for our primary bedroom, but it needed some TLC. The chair sat untouched for a few years until I met my (now) husband. I shared my desire to reupholster it myself, and to my surprise, he said, “I have all the tools if you need them. My grandmother used to reupholster furniture.”

With his encouragement and tools, I embarked on my first upholstery project. After successfully recovering that wing chair and making custom window treatments for my home, I was completely hooked. Word spread quickly, and soon I found myself creating custom pieces for friends and family. What began as a personal passion grew into Springwood Upholstery—a place where I now bring new life to cherished furniture and help others create beautiful, personalized spaces in their homes.
